The challenge
A NASDAQ-listed US tech company (valued > USD 20bn) is building its European hub in Switzerland. Rockstar Recruiting was mandated with the search for their first team - five roles, starting with a Director of Engineering who acts as their CTO Europe.
The ideal candidate required deep expertise in engineering leadership and domain-specific knowledge, while being able to orchestrate a globally distributed technology team. Furthermore, the candidate had to be the “first person on the ground”, handling a Site Lead function in Switzerland.
Our solution
Rockstar Recruiting fine-tuned the job description and the role together with the client, then mapped the Swiss and European market for potential candidates. Subsequently, after careful pre-assessments, the client was delivered three candidate batches - each containing three to four candidates - and started the internal interview journey.
