The challenge
As the fintech scaled headcount and pushed into new European markets, marketing had to grow from founder-led efforts into a genuine function: brand, demand generation, product marketing and category leadership - all within a regulated CH/EU/EFTA environment serving CFOs, treasurers and finance teams.
Following our CFO placement, the client mandated us to find a CMO who could build the marketing organization from the ground up and act as a strategic partner to the founders and the commercial leadership during hypergrowth.
Our solution
We worked with the CEO and commercial leadership to define the CMO mandate and success criteria, then ran a targeted executive search across Switzerland and Europe - primarily via our personal network - and delivered a curated longlist and a rigorously assessed shortlist.
