The story
Switzerland has given the world a great many things. A bona-fide rockstar isn't usually one of them. FIRST SWISS ROCKSTAR runs at that head-on - the feature-film debut of Swiss filmmaker, musician and actor Rob Holub, who sets out to become exactly that.
Under the rock'n'roll, it asks a serious question: what does success actually mean in the digital era? It's a film about ambition, personal brand, and the distance between being seen and being good - with an original soundtrack to match.
It opens in Swiss cinemas on 18 June 2026, led by an exclusive premiere tour with cast and crew at KINOKONI cinemas - Zurich on 16 June, Basel on 17 June and Olten on 19 June, each followed by a film talk.
